Admission Procedures

Misr American College accepts applications for students in Nursery to Grade 10. Admission will only be finalized after all relevant paperwork has been completed and received by the Admissions Office by the due date.

Please note that Submitting an online application does not guarantee acceptance at M.A.C. M.A.C. reserves the right to accept or decline applications at any point during the screening process.

A new student applying for admission to M.A.C. must go through the following process.

    Complete the online application. (See below)

    Once the online application is successfully submitted, the applicant will receive an immediate confirmation email. (Please make sure to check the junk mailbox)

    Within a few days after submitting the application, the applicant will receive another email to set an appointment to attend a presentation about the school and the American System, to answer any further inquiries, and to fill out a full application.

    Parents should have the following ready on the day of the presentation:

    • A copy of the original Electronic Birth Certificate.
    • A recent (4cm x 6cm) photo of the student, and a photo for each of the parents.

    After the presentation day, the applicant will receive an email to:

    • Set an appointment for individual and group interviews with the teacher (Nursery & KG1). Group interviews are scheduled only upon passing the individual interviews.
    • Set an appointment to conduct an English and Math assessment test (KG2 – G.10).

    Upon passing the interviews / assessments, Admissions personnel will arrange a meeting with the school principal.

    Upon acceptance, the Admissions personnel will issue an acceptance letter and personally submit it to the new applicant along with a list of required documents.

    Admissions personnel will follow up with the new applicant to confirm the payment of tuition fees within one week of receiving the acceptance letter.
